Vintage Trifari Collectible Costume Jewelry
Trifari jewelers produced some of the finest costume jewelry ever made. Today it is highly collectable. During the 1930's Afred Philippe, a renowned designer from Cartier, joined Trifari and helped turn Trifari into a lucrative jewelry company. Philippe's designs in the art deco period are popular with collectors. He's known for his design of the overly large flower pins, the fruit salad jewelry, pin clips, dress clips and bracelets. During the Art Deco period Trifari designed necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches and pins that were created to look like the fine jewelry that was popular at that time. Trifari designers were known for their flamboyant jewelry designs, but always focused on creating jewelry that resembed fine jewelry. Trifari was the company known as the leader in the costume and high fashion jewelry industry and today is a collectors favorite.
